Maximiliano Richeze aka. Atomico
Nicknamed “Atomico” for the fast speed which saw him win more than 30 races throughout his career, Maximiliano hails from a family of cycling aficionados: inspired by their father, all four Richeze boys began forging a career in the sport, with Max proving to be the most successful one, among his most important victories being two stages at the Giro d’Italia, one in the Tour de San Luis and the Pan American Championships.
Last year, he continued to reach other important landmarks in his career, such as leading the Tour de San Luis and winning a stage and the points jersey (a first for an Argentinean rider) at the Tour de Suisse (one of the oldest stage races in the world), besides performing lead-out duties for Fernando Gaviria and Marcel Kittel and helping them score many victories.
