In his second tenure with Quick-Step Floors, Dries continued to be an important asset for the team, a versatile rider and a genuine team player, who raced from January until October, from the Tour Down Under to Il Lombardia, via the Giro d’Italia, where he became the first Belgian to pass first over the top of the famous Monte Grappa.
“I had a strong season, and next year I look forward to racing again together with Quick-Step Floors some of the biggest races on the calendar; if I stay healthy I hope to bring again my contribution to the team’s success and maybe get some opportunities for myself”, said the Belgian ahead of his 12th pro season.
